Disney released an announcement regarding their upcoming streaming service called Disney+ which is being released on November 12th of this year. At the D23 Expo this year, so many exciting announcements were made regarding what's to come this year and also what will be exclusively streamed on Disney+. We have some of the highlights from the weekend right here!

Disney's New Streaming Platform Disney+

Exciting things to come from Disney this year are coming from Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar and of course the new streaming service Disney+. Some of the highlights are Marvel's Black Panther 2 being released on May 6th, 2022, Kit Harington being cast in Marvel's The Eternals, a Star Wars Obi-Wan series was confirmed, and the live-action Lady and the Tramp will stream exclusively on Disney+.

Hilary Duff Returns as "Lizzie McGuire" 

In terms of Pixar, Soul will be Pixar's first film with a black lead being Jamie Foxx which will be released on June 19th, 2020. Monsters at Work will also be a continuance so to speak of Monsters Inc., Hilary Duff will be reprising her role of "Lizzie McGuire" in a new series where "Lizzie" is now 30 years old living in New York and a Christmas movie starring Anna Kendrick called Noella will also be coming this year! 

So many exciting things to come from Disney and Disney+ in the coming months. We absolutely cannot wait!
