Princess Beatrice Brings Her Boyfriend To Her Father's Royal Event

It was the first time that Princess Beatrice has brought her boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi to an official royal event. The event took place at St. James' Palace on Wednesday June 12th and was in support of Prince Andrew's Pitch@Palace campaign. Sarah Ferguson was also in attendance to support her ex-husband and his work.

This outing comes just a few days after Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, made his Buckingham Palace balcony debut for Trooping the Colour. This is one of the very first royal events that Edoardo has attended and he seemed rather comfortable talking and mingling with guests. Beatrice was of course close by if he ever needed support.

The 129th Pitch@Palace Event

Pitch@Palace was established by Prince Andrew back in 2014. The goal of the campaign was to assist entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with networking, giving them the opportunity to connect with potential clients, supporters, influencers, mentors and even business partners. This past Wednesday's event marked the 129th Pitch@Palace event.

Edoardo Getting Close With Beatrice's Family

Princess Beatrice's boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is a 34-year-old multi-millionaire property mogul. It seems as though Edoardo is spending more time with the family recently as he attended an important event earlier this month called Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have also been spotted going on double dates with their men and seeming to have a wonderful time.

They Have Known Each Other For Years

Edoardo is apparently a friend of Princess Beatrice's family and they have known each other for years. Therefore it was unnecessary that there be a formal introduction to the parents for either one of them. We are so happy for the pair of them and hope that their relationship blossoms into something truly special!
