The most popular sitcoms of the 1990s (Seinfeld, Frasier and Friends) really didn't have any moms in the forefront. There were however plenty of family sitcoms to choose from during that decade like Full House and Boy Meets World.
These TV Moms Are Looking A Lot Different Now
It does take a village to raise a child: their mother, grandmothers, aunts, etc. An argument could be made though that even a TV mom can become a part of one's childhoods, whether it be Harriette Winslow or Florence Henderson.
Now that we are entering the 2020s, some of your favorite TV moms from the '90s may not look exactly the same. Take Katey Sagal from Married... with Children, for example.
