Aaron Rodgers has been open about his love of Jeopardy! for years. His new fiancé Shailene Woodley has even mentioned in interviews how their free time is spent watching the hit game show. So Aaron was happy to help host the show and fans loved it!
Aaron Rodgers Hosts Jeopardy!
A slew of guest hosts has stepped in to help run the show since the legendary Alex Trebek passed away from pancreatic cancer. The NFL star Aaron Rodgers shocked fans when he swapped out his Packers uniform for a suit and tie and his helmet for tidy slicked-back hair.
The quarterback made sure to pay tribute to beloved Alex while hosting last night's episode. He mentioned the time Aaron actually won Celebrity Jeopardy! back in 2015. Aaron said, "As a lifelong fan of Jeopardy! it is an incredible honor to guest host. Now, I've had the opportunity to do a lot of amazing things, but winning Celebrity Jeopardy! and getting to share the stage with the legend Alex Trebek is something I will never forget."
"Alex was such a gentleman. So smart, so precise, I was in awe. And I will work hard to honor his legacy."
Aaron was smooth and charming and quickly taken in by the contestants. One contestant even poked fun at Rodger's himself! The current champion brought up the Green Bay Packers January loss when he used his Final Jeopardy answer as "Who wanted to kick that field goal?"
Lovable Aaron answered, "That is a great question. It should be correct, but for this game today, that's incorrect." Fans applauded his performance on social media and made sure to ask Jeopardy! to bring charming Aaron back on to host.
Aaron's fiancé Shailene Woodley posted her first Instagram story with Aaron congratulating him on his big night! While in the passenger seat next to Aaron, Shailene said, "Guys, I have a very important announcement to make. This guy right here is super sexy, super attractive... just shaved his neck this morning. Has a little man bun growing. This guy is hosting Jeopardy! tonight!"
Hopefully, we will get to see Aaron in the hosting spot again!
