Hayley Atwell was born April 5th, 1982 in London. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she actually studied with fellow British actress, Jodie Whittaker!

Hayley had a few small television roles at first, like in the BBC miniseries The Line Of Beauty and AMC's The Prisoner, and went on to be nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Pillars of the Earth. She starred in a season premiere episode of the critically acclaimed Sci-Fi series Black Mirror, really debuting her incredible talents for the portrayal of deep emotion.

It was in 2011 that Atwell secured her position in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as "Peggy Carter" in Captain America: The First Avenger. She was even named one of MTV's "Breakout Stars To Watch For" in 2011.
She has continued to portray the complicated role of "Captain America's" romantic interest across multiple timelines in many shows and films like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Avengers: Endgame and her own series Agent Carter.
In 2018, Hayley co-starred with Ewan McGregor in the live-action film Christopher Robin and returned to the stage in the Shakespeare play Measure for Measure.
