Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez's wedding plans are currently put on hold due to the coronavirus, but that doesn't mean they haven't thought of possible ways the ceremony could happen! On Thursday, Rodriguez appeared via video on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And as Entertainment Tonight shared, he told the talk show host how he and Lopez have had to "go with the flow" in regards to their impending nuptials.

"Everything is fluid. Everything's been put on just a pause while we wait and see where the world takes us," Rodriguez said of the situation. "I mean, obviously this is an unprecedented time and for us, we just think safety first and make sure that all the little ones are in a good place".

Rodriguez says daughter "had a drive-thru party" for birthday

Rodriguez revealed that his daughter Ella had recently celebrated her 12th birthday, and they celebrated in a unique way given the social distancing circumstances! "We had a drive-thru party," Rodriguez said. As it turns out, the creative event inspired another suggestion. "And then some people said, 'Maybe we have a drive-thru wedding. It'll be cheaper'," Rodriguez told Fallon.

While he wasn't serious about the suggestion, it sounded like his daughter's drive-thru birthday was a success! "We kind of had this thing forecasted to maybe have 40 cars, there had to be, like, 300 cars come through. People were coming out of the woodwork to celebrate Ella's birthday," he shared. "We had a great time. We sat in the middle. We had masks on. It was pretty cool".
