The Hollywood bombshell Anna Nicole Smith left a huge impression on everyone who caught a glimpse of her or crossed paths with her and her tragic and sudden death shocked everyone. Now, exactly 14 years later we are getting to meet her beautiful daughter Dannielynn.
Anna Nicole Smith's Stardom and Tragic Death
20/20 just released a special documentary, Tragic Beauty, based on the life of gorgeous and bubbly Hollywood favorite Anna Nicole Smith. In the special just released on the weekend, viewers got an inside glimpse of what Anna was truly like and how she came to stardom.
The young single mom had been stuck in a small town fending for herself and trying to build a life for her and her son Daniel. She fought hard to be independent and through her efforts and connection she made it big. From dancing at a strip club to being on the cover of Playboy and getting recruited to model for Guess jeans, Anna had a meteoric rise smiling and giggling along the way.
Sadly, incredible Anna passed away from an accidental overdose on February 8th, 2007. She had just given birth to Dannielynn only 5 months earlier. Her 20-year-old son Daniel also horrifically died from a drug overdose while visiting his mother at the hospital days after she had given birth to Dannielynn.
Anna Nicole Smith's funeral was shrouded in sadness and confusion because Anna Nicole's boyfriend and attorney Howard K. Stern was listed as Dannielynn's father on the birth certificate but her former boyfriend Larry Birkhead believed he was the father. He had actually been attempting to acquire a paternity test for the entirety of Anna's pregnancy and after the baby was born.
After Anna Nicole passed away a court-ordered her body be preserved for almost a month so a paternity test could be done. The paternity test showed that photographer Larry Birkhead was in fact the father. The birth certificate was corrected and Howard K. Stern did not contest the findings.

Now 14-years-later, ABC released the documentary Tragic Beauty detailing the life of both Anna Nicole and her beloved daughter Dannielynn Birkhead. Larry Birkhead has been a dedicated single father to the model's daughter and in the documentary, he is putting in the effort to keep her mother's memory alive.

Larry brought Dannielynn on a road trip to her late mother's home town and even surprised her with her mom's treasures that he and Anna Nicole's mother kept to give to Dannielynn. Larry explained, "Dannielynn's a teenager now, and she doesn't really know a ton of things about her mom. Anna should be remembered as this larger-than-life figure that was really a caring, giving person, a beautiful lady who loved her fans and loved her family."
Dannielynn is absolutely beautiful and the resemblance to her mother is absolutely uncanny! "I look at her and she's my everything. When I see how big she's become, I'm just so proud of her… She reminds me so much of her mom and as she gets older, and her features are changing, it's just like having a little miniature Anna Nicole running around in so many ways."
