Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he's been recovering from heart surgery! As ET Canada shares, Schwarzenegger didn't mention he was receiving surgery, but the news came when he made a surprising social media post on Friday to update his fans on his health.

Schwarzenegger says he was treated at Cleveland clinic

Schwarzenegger opened up about the incident on Twitter, sharing where he received treatment as well as his current condition. While he didn't share what had caused the heart issue in the first place, he wanted to let fans know that his recovery has been going well!

"Thanks to the team at the Cleveland Clinic, I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery," the actor tweeted. "I feel fantastic and have already been walking the streets of Cleveland enjoying your amazing statues. Thank you to every doc and nurse on my team!" He also included several photos— one of him giving a thumbs-up from his hospital bed, and several of him enjoying the outdoors.

Schwarzenegger recently shared weightlifting video online

Schwarzenegger didn't say when he went in for surgery, but it must not have happened long ago. That's because as ET Canada mentions, the Terminator actor posted a video of himself lifting weights on Twitter at the end of August! "Old, but no obsolete. T-bar rows are one of my favorite exercises," he tweeted. "Here’s some Monday motivation!"

Shortly afterwards, Schwarzenegger's son Patrick quoted the tweet, commenting on his dad's choice of pump-up music. "Going crazy in the gym to Taylor Swift. Love It. Keep it up," Patrick quipped in response. Back in August, Schwarzenegger shared a new family photo on his birthday. He also attended Patrick's graduation in May, posting a sweet picture on Instagram!
