Atypical's "Casey" a.k.a. Brigette Lundy-Paine has raised the bar for Hollywood stars to be better role models and to be their best selves. Even so young, they fight for what they believe is right and have even become an LGBTQ+ icon.

Atypical: "Casey" Brigette Lundy Paine

Atypical's "Casey" is portrayed by the ever-talented Brigette Lundy-Paine born August 10th, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. Brigette grew up surrounded by actors, their parents and extended family even founded Alameda's Virago Theatre Company when they were young.

They earned their big break in the 2017 hit The Glass Castle, The Wilde Wedding, Downsizing, and Jackass star's Action Point.

They then went on to blow viewers away in the Megyn Kelly biopic Bombshell and the hit Netflix series Atypical as protagonist "Sam Gardner's" sister "Casey." Brigette's role as "Casey" has earned much praise for portraying the protective sister of the autistic lead and has continued to star in the series since its launch.

Since their rise to fame, Lundy-Paine has gained a loyal fan base and became hyper-aware of their responsibility to those that look up to Brigette. Last year Lundy-Paine came out as non-binary and clarified how they prefer to be referred to as and why, really inspiring others to be themselves and embrace how they feel.

In a post, explaining their sexuality Brigette said "I'm non-binary, always felt a lil bit boy, lil bit girl, lil bit neither." They also explained "Using they/them as of late n it feels right. Scary af to comeout n been rly putting this off. But I feel I owe it to myself and to all of us who struggle w gender." Lundy-Paine shows support for the LGBTQ+ community as much as possible and stays very strong with their voice.

Brigette has always had their own uniquely strange sense of style and self, embracing weirdness and difference, truly inspiring their fans. They landed the role of Keanu Reeve's daughter in the highly anticipated film Bill & Ted Face the Music! They also starred in the fourth and final season of Atypical, which was released on Netflix just this year.
