Betty White is just weeks away from turning 100 years old!

Betty White announces new movie for 100th birthday

The upcoming special is called Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration. It will feature White celebrating her 100th birthday at a star-studded party, which includes guests like Ryan Reynolds, Carol Burnett, and Clint Eastwood.

Announcing the news to CNN, White said: "Who doesn't love a party?!? This one is gonna be GREAT!"

The documentary will also feature a look back at White's legendary career, from her days on The Mary Tyler Moore Show through The Golden Girls and her work now.

The special movie event will premiere in theatres on White's birthday (Jan. 17), so she's inviting fans to come out and celebrate with her. You can get details on tickets here, and hopefully the film heads to TV and streaming services after that.

Fans haven't heard too much from Betty in recent years, but her rep did confirm that she was "doing very well" during the pandemic last year.

White will now be back in a big way in the new year. The Hollywood legend, who was born on Jan. 17, 1922, turns 100 next month.
