Bob Dylan Releases First Original Son In Eight Years

"Greetings to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty across the years. This is an unreleased song we recorded a while back that you might find interesting. Stay safe, stay observant and may God be with you," the artist said in the Tweet.

Bob Dylan stirred up some controversy when JFK was shot after making comments suggesting that he saw some of himself in the man who murdered the former President, Lee Harvey Oswald. "I got to admit that the man who shot President Kennedy, Lee Oswald, I don't know exactly where — what he thought he was doing, but I got to admit honestly that I too — I saw some of myself in him," he said when accepting the Tom Paine Award.

"Murder Most Foul" was recorded some time ago, however it is the first original music released by Dylan since his 2012 album Tempest. Bob Dylan has released several albums of standards since then, but fans can now enjoy an original ballad from the legendary singer.
