Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer have paid tribute to the late Conchata Ferrell through touching social media posts! As Entertainment Tonight shares, the actors took to Twitter on Tuesday to honour the life of Ferrell, who they co-starred with on the popular sitcom Two and a Half Men.

Sheen calls Ferrell's death "a shocking and painful loss"

Sheen's approach to remembering his former co-star was short but sweet! The actor made a touching post that saw him reflect on the kind of person he remembered Ferrell— who played housekeeper "Berta" on the show— as being during the years they spent together.

"an absolute sweetheart a consummate pro a genuine friend a shocking and painful loss," Sheen tweeted after hearing of Ferrell's passing. "Berta, your housekeeping was a tad suspect, your "people" keeping was perfect." As previously reported, Ferrell entered long-term care back in July after suffering a heart attack, passing away on October 12 at 77 years old.

Cryer shares memory of his first meeting with Ferrell

Cryer's reflection on Ferrell's life saw him also compare her to "Berta," explaining how she was very different from her character! "She was a beautiful human," he tweeted of his late co-star. "Berta’s gruff exterior was an invention of the writers. Chatty’s warmth and vulnerability were her real strengths. I’m crying for the woman I’ll miss, and the joy she brought so many."

The actor then went more in-depth, sharing the memory of the first time he met Ferrell. "I remember her first day on 2 1/2 Men. It was our second episode and I felt so lucky that they’d been able to cast her on the show," he said. "I gushed to her about what a fan i was of hers and she simply refused to believe it."

According to the actor, it wasn't until he told Ferrell how much he enjoyed her work in Hot L Baltimore— a sitcom that was cancelled in the mid-70s— that she was convinced! "I’m glad that I absolutely knew how fortunate I was to share a stage with her. I treasured every moment and will continue to until we meet again," Cryer concluded, also recommending that people "check out her wonderful body of film work."
