If there's one thing that every parent gets anxious about, it's making sure pregnancy goes smoothly for both baby and mama. Chrissy Teigen shared a few weeks ago that her doctor had ordered her to be on bed rest, but since then, the model shares she's now in the hospital.

Despite the baby boy himself is seeming okay, Teigen revealed that she was bleeding to the point that she had to be rushed to the hospital where they are monitoring the little guy until it's safe for her to go home.

Chrissy Teigen revealed she's feeling "scared"

Chrissy Teigen and hubby John Legend are trying to stay strong, as their third pregnancy is a challenging one. Teigen took to Instagram to update her fans on what's been happening from her hospital bed.

On Sunday evening, Teigen shared that complications surrounding her pregnancy have led the model to be stuck in her hospital bed for bleeding that's more than what's considered normal this far in her pregnancy.

"We're talking more than your period, girls, but definitely not spotting," she shared. "A lot of people spot and it’s usually fine. But mine was a lot."

The bleeding is apparently coming from her placenta, and the baby himself is doing okay.

She added it was scary because, "Every time I’d go to the bathroom it would be blood, but honestly, just laying there would be blood. But today the big difference was that it kind of was like you were to turn a faucet on to low and leave it there. ... It was at the point today where it was like never stopping."

Teigen also shared that mood-wise she's feeling better than she was to if she weren't pregnant, and that's why this is so challenging for her to deal with.

"That way I feel happier than I do not pregnant. That's why it's so, so hard for me to come to terms with," she said.

As for the little guy, Teigen shared that he's growing very healthy and very strong.

"The baby is so healthy, growing stronger than Luna or Miles. He moves a lot," she said. "He's moved so much earlier than they ever did. He's like a rollie pollie. We have like a million great pictures of him. He's just so different than they were. So he's so strong and I'm just so excited for him because he's so wonderful and just the strongest little dude, so I can't wait for him."

Despite knowing that the baby is okay, Teigen admits she knows she isn't out in the clear yet, and that realization is causing her to feel stressed and scared.

"Basically, he's the strongest, coolest dude in the s---tiest house. His house is just falling apart," she explained. "It didn't have a good foundation, to begin with, though. He didn't have the strongest chance at the very, very beginning."

"It's just hard because there's not much you can do," she added. "I'm in that weird in-between time of it being really dangerous to try anything."

"Basically if I can make it through the next few weeks, if little boy can make it through the next few weeks, then, you know, we can go from there and be able to kind of get through the danger zone or whatever," she added. "But we have to get through this first. So yeah, it is scary. But it's scary in the way that there's just really nothing to do."

Teigen concluded that Legend is supporting her and staying by her side, and making her all kinds of snacks as she recovers.
