Romance is brewing between two TV stars of the 1970s and 80s!

In November 2020, news broke that Dallas star Patrick Duffy ("Bobby Ewing") and Happy Days star Linda Purl ("Ashley Pfister") are dating. Duffy, 72, revealed the news to People as part of a new issue. Here's what he said about the blossoming romance.

"I'm in an incredibly happy relationship," Duffy revealed to People of his new love, Purl. He went on to describe his surprise at the relationship as well. Sadly, in 2017, Duffy had lost his wife of over 40 years, Carlyn. He explained: "I never thought for a minute this would happen again. I never thought I'd feel this way again."

People writes that the Dallas and Happy Days actors were friends years ago and they only recently reconnected in a group chat during the pandemic. They got to talking and realized they might have something.

"I loaded up my car and drove 20 hours and ended up on her doorstep just to see if it was real," Duffy recalled. "We haven't been apart since."

The Happy Days season 10 star also had a son with her third husband, Alexander Cary.

Both the ex-Dallas and Happy Days stars have continued acting to date, with Duffy even appearing on NCIS in 2020. His People interview also came to promote an upcoming Lifetime movie titled Once Upon a Main Street. Congratulations to the happy couple!
