The childhood besties are growing up

Daniel Radcliffe grew up in front of an audience, playing the widely loved "Harry Potter". The 30 year-old is now sharing how crazy it seems that his co-stars are having babies.

Appearing on Monday's Watch What Happens Live, the actor was asked about his Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint's happy news of fatherhood.

“I texted him the other day and said I was so happy for him and it’s very very cool,” Radcliffe said.

"It’s also super weird, for me, to think that we are all at the age where we are all having children but we definitely are," he further shared.

Grint welcomed his daughter earlier this May with his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome.

Radcliffe also went on to joke about turning 30, saying, "I remember when I turned 30, I remember a lot of people in my life were really depressed to find out that they’re lapped."

Also on the show, Radcliffe mentioned the 2002 Christian Bale film, Equilibrium, which he was denied a role for.

“I did not get that and, because I didn’t get that, I was able to get ‘Potter’, which I was auditioning for at the same time, so that worked out,” Radcliffe said.
