Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe: A one-time thing
As a former agent of the 'King of Rock'n'Roll' explained, he introduced Marilyn and Elvis to each other. Elvis Presley was known for his numerous affairs, so a hook-up between these two is not totally out of the question.
Elvis Presley's former agent Byron Raphael claimed in the New York Daily Post that a secret meeting between the two took place in 1956. After Marilyn had rebuffed Elvis at first, they eventually met up in secret.

"I brought her to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and we went upstairs to his room. When he saw her, they came together and, without a word, started kissing. [...] After two minutes they went into the bedroom," Raphael said.
But the two - obviously - never fell in love with each other. The 'King of Rock'n'Roll' supposedly said about her later on: "She's a nice gal, but a little tall for me." Why did nobody ever know about their one-night stand?
Well, at the time Marilyn was still married to Arthur Miller and an affair like that would probably have ruined the careers of both Elvis and Marilyn.
