Duane Chapman still mourns his late wife

Despite missing his beloved wife Beth Chapman, Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman explains why he proposed to his long time assistant, Moon Angell.

"Oh, I miss her," the Dog's Most Wanted star tells ET in an exclusive interview. "Eight months, that's the worst part, it seems like yesterday and they say 'time heals all wounds.' No, it doesn’t."

Beth Chapman sadly passed last year after succumbing to throat cancer.

Chapman hates to admit that she was his everything, "because I am such a macho, macho man. But she was the glue that held my family together. So now I got to redo it and re-staple everybody -- and we are all kind of brawling right now."

The family has been going through challenging times since it was released that his daughter, Lyssa was arrested last month.

"I am very lonesome," Chapman admits

He says Angell has previously said, "'No one will ever love you like Beth did. You better stop looking for that because there is no woman alive that will ever love you like that.'"

"When I said it, I think I was about ready to cry, but I knew that she would say no, and once she said no, that did it," he explains. "And 98 percent of the rumours went away, the lies went away."

Chapman did reveal that he is "not quite there yet" when it comes to looking for a special lady.
