Born on May 12th, 1983, Domhnall Gleeson grew up the oldest of three other brothers. One of his brothers is actor Brian Gleeson, and his famous father, Brendan, who had starred with Domnhall in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. It's no surprise that Domhnall has the acting genes within him!

Before he started his professional career in acting, Gleeson obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts at the Dublin Institute of Technology. After graduating, he began his theatre career, which led to bigger on-screen roles.

Since, he's been in many award-winning films, such as Ex Machina and The Revenant. He also made his Star Wars debut in 2017 with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and reprised the role again in 2019 in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Today, you can find Gleeson in the live-action Peter Rabbit films! He starred in the first one in 2018, alongside Rose Byrne and Margot Robbie, and will continue to star as "Thomas McGregor" and "Mr. Jeremy Fisher" in the sequel, which was released in 2021. He also appeared in the 2022 film 'The Patient'. 

On television, you can see him in HBO's comedy-thriller series, Run, where he stars as the main character "Billy Johnson", as well as the 2021 series Frank of Ireland. We can't wait to see more of this Irish face!
