Speaking with her guest, comedian Nikki Glaser, Barrymore revealed how she was ditched by her date just seconds before their meet-up time.

"I booked a date with one guy, finally. He stood me up at the exact time we were supposed to meet," Barrymore revealed. "And I was like, 'Can’t you be a jerk like an hour before?' That would have been such a time saver."

The famous mother of two said she tried to take it with a grain of salt, adding that she knows "it happens all the time", but that she still felt "so stupid."

As for who the man was? Well, Barrymore never really spilled, but she did say he was a writer.

"There are big, high-powered men and of course, I didn’t go for any of those," she said. "I never have! I was like, oh, the comedy writer, that sounds fun."

After Glaser tried to make the situation a bit more lighthearted, suggesting perhaps he was intimidated, Barrymore was insistent in that it was just a poor move in judgment.

"I think he’s just an uncourteous person who has reasons that are completely fine to him but is going about them all the wrong way," she responded.

"We’ve just got to face the facts. It may be personal, it may not be, but whatever. Let’s not fool ourselves in the middle of all of this," she added.

Barrymore also opened up about her self image, admitting that being on the app has made her slightly self-conscious when it comes to her body, as she finds herself comparing herself to other women on the app.

"I’m like, you know what, this is my body. I made two babies. I’m working with what I’ve got," she said. "You know what, screw it. I love these women in Victoria’s Secret campaigns. I love these women on this app and I’m not going to compare myself to them."
