Thank God Dwayne Johnson grew into his looks the way he did! The actor is joking about his glow up after posting a throwback photo to his Instagram that features an adorable goofy grin.
Never taking himself too seriously, Johnson laughed off his vintage look and old school outfit for his millions of followers, but made it a point to note that he still won Sexiest Man Alive!

Dwayne Johnson is laughing at himself in an adorable yet hilarious throwback photo, posted to his Instagram earlier today.
The photo, which appears to be taken during an annual school shoot, shows the 48-year-old actor when he was just 7 years old and wearing a classic 70s button up and afro.
"Throwback to 7 years old in Hawaii," Johnson captioned the photo. "Just drippin’ cool with my buck teeth, aloha shirt and WTF is going on with my afro matted down on one side!?"
He then went on to laugh off the look, noting that in 2016 he still ended up winning People's Sexiest Man Alive!

"No way this stud doesn’t grow up to become Sexiest Man Alive," he said.
Many fans were quick to join in on the fun, adding this was back when he was "just a pebble," referring to his ever-popular nickname "The Rock."
Johnson has taken a few walks down memory lane on his Instagram, sharing last Thanksgiving that his family hadn't always been fortunate.
"As my mom pointed out earlier in the day, there was a time back in '87 when we couldn’t even afford Thanksgiving dinner and was praying someone would invite us over their house to eat," he captioned a photo at the time.
This January, Johnson will be releasing a biopic series, which is currently being filmed in Australia.
