Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was set to take place in the Netherlands
Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was expected to take place at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands, following the country's victory at the 2019 edition with the song "Arcade" performed by Duncan Laurence. The EBU confirmed that the Dutch city would potentially host the 2021 edition.
Eurovision Song Contest has been a great success over the past years. The event invites European countries to submit original songs to be performed on live television before a winner is selected. A version of the contest featuring younger contestants, Junior Eurovision Song Contest, has also been a great success.
