Dakota Johnson is one of the most gorgeous and desired actresses in Hollywood. She owes this mainly to her role in the romantic drama Fifty Shades of Grey. However, even prior to the film, Dakota was no stranger to show business!
Dakota was born in Texas on October 4, 1989, and was destined to be a star. Her parents are none other than famed actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. Along with her grandmother, Tippi Hedren, who was a star in various Alfred-Hitchcock movies. When she was just nine years old, she acted in the film Crazy in Alabama, together with her mother Melanie. It was not until a decade later that she would take on further roles and truly blossom into the celebrity she is today.
In the 2010 film The Social Network, she worked alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake. She then went on to make appearances in blockbusters like 21 Jump Street. Dakota's career would change however in 2015 when she landed her first big leading role portraying "Anastasia Steele" in the film trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey. The film was a huge success for her and fellow costar Jamie Dornan. Fifty Shades of Grey is about a successful businessman who falls in love with a young student and introduces her to the world of BDSM.
