Before the massive success of the Frozen film series, Idina Menzel was a part of the hit Broadway production of Rent. It was here that she met her former husband Taye Diggs, to whom she was married from 2003 to 2014. However, this wasn't the only man she met during Rent...
Idina Menzel's husband, actor Aaron Lohr
Both Idina and Aaron Lohr not only performed together in the film adaptation of Rent (2005) but also in the off-Broadway musical See What I Wanna See. Shortly after Idina's divorce from Taye, she was seen with Aaron at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in April 2015.
The pair had announced their engagement in September 2016 and married the following year in September 2017. Menzel has one child with Taye Diggs, but none (yet!) with Lohr.
Aside from acting, Aaron is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. He actually has two Master's degrees - one in Criminal Justice and another in Psychology!
