Genesis: Phil Collins and co. return for the first time since 2007

Genesis's new tour will feature the band's first performances since their "Turn It Back On Again" tour of 2007.

The band's most successful line-up - with Phil Collins on drums, Tony Banks on keyboards, and Mike Rutherford on guitar - returns for the tour. Collins hasn't been able to drum for some time due to nerve damage, so his son, Nic Collins will fill in on drums. Daryl Stuermer joins the band on bass.

Genesis 2020 tour: No plans for Peter Gabriel to join the band

The announcement of Genesis's 2020 tour did not include a mention of the band's former lead singer, Peter Gabriel. He's not expected to be a part of the reunion.

Gabriel quit the band to pursue his solo music career in 1975. Phil Collins replaced him, and the band went on to enjoy popular success in the late 1970s and 1980s.

Genesis plays its 10 tour dates in late 2020. The band's final album, Calling All Stations, was released in 1997.
