Scott Patterson's character "Luke Danes" was not only a staple in Gilmore Girls but also a fan-favourite. His personality and love for both "Lorelai" (Lauren Graham) and "Rory" (Alexis Bledel) was something fans were rooting for the whole series through.

Scott Patterson hasn't been doing too many other films or series since portraying the legendary "Luke", however, he is still active in the entertainment industry and very involved with Gilmore Girls fans and events today.

Scott Patterson After Gilmore Girls 

After his big role in Gilmore Girls, Patterson played the role of "Agent Peter Strahm" in the Saw films (2007, 2008 and 2009) and starred in the coming of age film Her Best Move in 2007.

He also had a main role in Aliens in America as "Gary Tolchuck" from 2007 to 2008 and another main role in the show The Event as "Michael Buchanan" for 16 episodes from 2010-2011.

In 2016, Patterson returned to his "Luke Danes" roots for the Netflix special, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life which premiered on November 25th, 2016.

Scott Patterson is set to appear in three upcoming films titled The Rogue, Liberty, and The Sons of Summer all of which are in the pre-production stage. Apart from his acting duties, he has been very active doing Gilmore Girls fan events which you can see on his official Instagram account. He spends lots of time with his son Nicholas as well.
