Glenn Close, known for films like Fatal Attraction and Hillbilly Elegy, is a legend in Hollywood. With so many great films, we narrowed down the list to her most Oscar-worthy films, which of course wouldn't be complete without Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction!

Glenn Close Fatal Attraction Oscar-Worthy Films

Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction is one of the best Glenn Close films of all time. Starring as a troubled book editor in the 1987 psychological thriller, "Alex Forrest" has become one of the roles Close is most associated with, and the film would make her an international star!

Glenn Close would earn herself another Oscar nomination for Best Actress with 1988's Dangerous Liaisons. Also starring the gorgeous Uma Thurman, Close and Thurman blew critics and audiences away and made the film the classic it is today.

More recently, Glenn Close has added another Oscar nomination to her already impressive resume after starring in 2017's The Wife. The drama would star not only Close but also her daughter, Annie Starke. While the film would not win Close her first Oscar it did win her a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Critic's Choice Award.

After a stellar performance in Netflix's film adaptation of Hillbilly Elegy, 2021 could very well be the year that Glenn Close wins her first Oscar. With competition like Olivia Colman for this year's Best Supporting Actress Award, Close will be competing with the best of the best but we can think of no one more deserving than the talented 74-year-old!
