The cast for Olivia Wilde's upcoming film Don't Worry, Darling has one stacked cast! Originally set to star Shia LaBeouf, it looks like the male lead is going to be replaced!

Everyone's favourite One Direction star, Harry Styles, has agreed to come on as the new lead, working alongside Florence Pugh.

The stacked cast for Olivia Wilde's film

Olivia Wilde celebrated her directorial debut in 2019 with her hit comedy Booksmart, and now she's even more excited for her next project, Don't Worry, Darling.

Originally set to feature Shia LaBeouf alongside the young and talented Florence Pugh, it would seem that scheduling conflicts make it impossible for LaBeouf to appear in the film.

Ex-One Direction star Harry Styles landed his first acting gig as a British soldier in the award-winning film Dunkirk, and now is taking on another role!

Replacing LaBeouf, Styles will appear alongside Pugh in the psychological thriller which explores the narrative of a 1950s housewife who discovers a disturbing secret.

Also set to star in the film are Chris Pine and Dakota Johnson.

"This cast is B A N A N A S. I’m the happiest director in the world. To say that I’m honoured/excited/elated/s----- myself would be a massive understatement," Wilde said on Twitter back in April.

Deadline reports that filming will begin this fall, despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
