In 1992, Eurythmics frontwoman Annie Lennox released the song "Walking on Broken Glass," from her solo album Diva. The track reached number one in Canada, as well as number eight in the United Kingdom.

Fun fact about Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass" is that the fabulous Hugh Laurie starred in the music video for the song, directed by Sophie Muller. The clip is based on the 1988 film Dangerous Liaisonsas well as on period films of the late 18th century!
