Betty White left her fans with a special message not long before she passed away! Ahead of the release of the new documentary Betty White: A Celebration, producer Steve Boettcher revealed to Entertainment Tonight that White made one last video paying tribute to all her supporters.

White looked "striking and beautiful," producer says

White sadly passed away on December 31 and is said to have filmed the clip less than two weeks before she died. Boettcher mentioned that White had recorded the message, which he shared was "kind of a shout-out to her fans," on December 20. And according to the producer, White looked just as amazing as ever at 99 years old while doing so!

Boettcher said the late actress was "striking and beautiful" in the special video. He mentioned how much she had enjoyed getting "glammed up" for the camera, with her hair and makeup done as she honoured her fans. "She was smiling and really she wanted to thank her fans sincerely, from the bottom of her heart, for all the support over the years," he said of White.

He also mentioned how the documentary "shows Betty in kind of quiet moments" and praised the beloved star, who he called "the eternal optimist," for her "genuine" nature. Before she passed, White planned to host a star-studded 100th birthday celebration. While it's not known if her final video message to fans will be shared, perhaps it will be included in the documentary, which is set to receive a theatrical release on White's birthday.
