Hugh Grant decided to poke some fun at his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley after learning what she's been up to lately in quarantine! As Entertainment Tonight reports, Grant's comment came shortly after Hurley tweeted about her latest hobby on Sunday— making marmalade!

Grant jokes about Hurley being in Paddington 3

Hurley posted a picture of herself smiling at the camera while proudly holding up two jars of the homemade spread. "Lockdown has turned me into a demented housewife: 47 jars of marmalade are nestling in my larder and another sack of Seville oranges await me," she wrote.

When Grant saw the tweet, he couldn't resist having some fun with it by suggesting the perfect movie franchise for Hurley to star in given the new interest she's picked up! "Paddington 3," the actor wrote in response, referring to the beloved fictional bear known for his love of marmalade!

Grant thinks second Paddington film is "a masterpiece"

Grant played the villain in Paddington 2, which makes his tweet to Hurley even more hilarious! As Entertainment Tonight mentions, the actor expressed his love for the second Paddington movie back in November when he appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers, calling it "a masterpiece".

While there is in fact a Paddington 3 in the works, any further details about the latest film to follow the adventures of the titular bear have been under wraps. But now that Hurley has shared her love of marmalade with the world, perhaps she could end up making a cameo!
