One of James Franco's earliest roles and one that would make him famous was as the title character in 2001's biographical film James Dean. James took his role very seriously and literally became James Dean on and off-screen! He dyed his hair blonde, learned to ride a motorcycle, and even started to smoke two packs of cigarettes a day to really get into character!
