A not-so-relaxing end to a meditation retreat

Hopefully Jared Leto took a lot away from his meditation retreat, because the poor guy will need all that zen being released into this crazy new world!

The actor had spent the last 12 days secluded from the outside world, including technological communication such as phones, TV and radio.

The coronavirus hit North America a week ago, and has spiralled into a global pandemic, sending most into their homes to self isolate.

A lot of celebs have posted about their self isolation, and it wasn't until Monday night that Leto jumped on the bandwagon, explaining his situation.

"Wow. 12 days ago I began a silent meditation in the desert," he wrote in a post on Instagram. "We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility."

"Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that's been changed forever," he continued. "Mind blowing — to say the least. I'm getting messages from friends and family all around the globe and catching up on what's going on. Hope you and yours are ok. Sending positive energy to all. Stay inside. Stay safe."

During this time, many celebrities have urged the same message to stay inside.

Most of North America has shut the doors of theatres, restaurants, and cancelled local events.
