On Friday, Jennifer Aniston shared that she's mailed in her ballot for the upcoming American presidential election! Aniston talked about why she chose to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and brought up the issues she feels people should seriously consider before voting. Find out what she said!

Jennifer Aniston is urging people to carefully consider the impact their ballot will have before voting in the upcoming U.S. presidential election! As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Aniston took to Instagram on Friday to share that she's voted herself, and explained what's at stake depending on the election results.

Aniston shares why she voted for Biden/Harris ticket

Aniston started her post by revealing she'd already mailed in her ballot, voting for Democratic nominees Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and explained the rationale that led to her decision. "#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early," the actress began her post. "I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever."

She went on to reference how the current government has been debating women's reproductive rights, as well as Donald Trump's failure to handle current world issues. "Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies," she continued. "Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died."

Aniston then stressed how she wants people to think about the possible impact of the election's outcome. "I urge you to really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we’re on right now... your daughters, the LGBTQ+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting)," she said.

"This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue, it’s about the future of this country and of the world," the actress continued. "Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency." She also discouraged people from using their ballots to vote for Kanye West. "PS - It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible," Aniston said.

Aniston isn't the only celebrity to be outspoken about voting recently! On Thursday, Ryan Reynolds mentioned that he voted in the U.S. election for the first time with his wife Blake Lively, and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel urged his viewers to vote after sharing an emotional video.
