Jordan William Fisher was born on April 24, 1994 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was homeschooled as a kid, and became interested in musical theatre after being cast in a production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. when he was in the fifth grade.
Fisher has starred in several big musicals since then, appearing in Broadway productions of Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen and the televised Rent: Live!

He also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2017 alongside pro dancer Lindsay Arnold, and the pair took home the mirror ball trophy that year.
