Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio recently got to see each other again for the first time in ages! Winslet told The Guardian what it was like to reunite with the actor not long ago, revealing that the moment brought her to tears.

Winslet says she hadn't seen DiCaprio for three years

Winslet and DiCaprio have shared the screen in both Titanic and Revolutionary Road, maintaining a close relationship off-screen as well. The actress said she "couldn't stop crying" when she and DiCaprio got to see each other in Los Angeles recently, talking about why it was an emotional time for them both. She revealed that thanks to travel restrictions, the last time they got to see each other was three years ago!

Instead of having an opportunity for their paths to cross while travelling, the two stars unexpectedly found themselves apart for years. Since they first met while filming Titanic decades ago, Winslet commented on having known DiCaprio for "half my life". She referred to him as "my really close friend," mentioning that the two of them are "bonded for life" because of their experiences.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio stars in the new Netflix film Don't Look Up, which features an ensemble cast that also includes Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, and Jonah Hill.
