The big news was reported by People, announcing that famed composer David Foster (70) and his 5th wife, American Idol runner up Katharine McPhee (36) are expecting! This is such exciting news as it will be Katharine's first child!
David has 5 other biological children, his first daughter was placed for adoption, he had a second daughter with his first wife B.J. Cook, and his three other daughters with his second wife Rebecca Dyer. Maybe this will be his first boy! Foster was a stepfather as well to Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, and Anwar Hadid and Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner from his marriages to Yolanda Hadid and Linda Thompson.
The two met originally on American Idol and worked together on music but both parties were married to other people and they did not spark up a romance until years later. Finally, David and Katharine married on June 28th, 2019, and have been happily married and entertaining fans during quarantine with the sweetest Disney and musical themed duets! The two are going to make amazing parents!
According to Hello! David and Katharine were spotted celebrating at the fabulous and elite Lucky's Steakhouse in Montecito with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Wednesday night! Katherine and Meghan had performed in musicals together when they were young, Katherine even posted a throwback photo of the two together!
The Sussexes and the Fosters are quite intertwined, Katharine even told Access Hollywood, "My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They're like, they're so cute. They're like father and son."
