Stand-up comedian and actor Kevin Hart suffered major back injuries and underwent surgery following a car accident in September, but it seems now he's doing pretty well! The 40-year-old posted a video on Instagram of his fitness routine showing his fans how he is rebuilding, both physically and emotionally.

In the clip that reads, "Rebuilding people….I’m not trying to get back to where I was…I’m trying to reach new levels of greatness….not for you guys tho…I’m trying to reach these new levels for MYSELF,” Hart appears doing a series of workouts including squats, and push-ups. As of today the video has been watched by more than 2.5 million followers and commented on by more than 5,000, including celebrities like Mark Wahlberg.

Kevin wants to motivate people to challenge themselves

Kevin Hart was hospitalized in September after being involved in a car crash in Malibu Hills, California; following surgery, he was discharged 10 days after the accident and transferred to a rehabilitation facility. In the past few days he has expressed his wish of inspiring and motivating people "to challenge themselves," even if they are struggling with difficult life situations. "We all have greatness within...it's up to us to tap into it," he said.

The stand-up comedian won't be fully back to work until 2020, except for promoting his upcoming film Jumanji: The Next Level, where he shares credits with Dwayne Johnson. Hart's first public appearance since the car accident was only a couple days ago at the People's Choice Awards, where he received the award for Comedy Act of 2019.
