The actress is remaining humble about the buzz and says that she's just happy people were so gracious in their reception to the film. Despite being out for only 2 weeks, the film has been reaching critics as one of the best Princess Dianas we've seen yet!

When asked about how she feels about the idea of getting an Oscar, the Twilight star said that she "doesn't give a s--t." While mostly joking, the 31-year-old did go on to share more about why she feels that way.

"There are so many incredible movies and performances that barely get seen," she said. "And it definitely says something about where we're at as a cumulative presence, like what we're looking at, what we care about."

She did elaborate a bit further, saying that she did feel grateful still. "I really appreciate that something that I was involved in has ignited such a large conversation."

Stewart also noted that the buzz around the movie is also a testament to how impactful Princess Diana was and, despite being over 20 years since she's passed, is able to remain such a huge icon.

"It absolutely speaks to her resonance. It just won't stop reverberating," she said. "It's nice that people are talking about it to the extent that they are."

Spencer is still in theatres.
