Lance Bass has voiced his support for Britney Spears amidst her ongoing conservatorship battle! As Us Weekly shares, Bass talked to Australia's Today Extra on Tuesday, where he shared his thoughts regarding Spears' complicated legal circumstances.

Bass thinks that Spears' wishes should be heard out

Bass revealed that he's ultimately supportive of the "Oops! I Did it Again" singer, who has spoken out against her father Jamie being her sole conservator. "We should definitely listen to her," he said of Spears, "and if she wants out of this conservatorship with her dad controlling it, then we should listen to her."

The NSYNC singer did admit he doesn't have a full understanding of Spears' conservatorship, which will last until at least September 2021. "I don't know the specifics of her situation and if she should be out of a conservatorship," Bass went on to say. "But the thing I've told the fans out there is I don't know. I have no idea what's really going on."

Bass explains that he trusts Spears' sister

Bass said that he looks to the response of another member of Spears' family to help guide his own reaction to the situation. "I do trust her sister, Jamie Lynn [Spears] and as long as Jamie Lynn is cool with whatever she's doing, I mean, I have to be," he explained.

Britney's mom, Lynn Spears, has also been trying to help her daughter regain autonomy over her life. And Bass isn't the only celebrity to have been outspoken about the conservatorship battle, with Paris Hilton saying she thinks Britney's situation is "not fair"!
