After growing up and going to High School in Watchung, New Jersey, Laura Helen Prepon (now 44 years old) attended Total Theatre Lab in New York City when she was 16. She was a stage actress until she got her first job on the small screen.

That '70s Show: Laura Prepon's big break!

At the age of 18, in 1998, she was cast as "Donna Pinciotti" in the NBC sitcom That '70s Show - her big break into the acting world. From 1998 until 2006, Prepon starred in the successful sitcom alongside the likes of Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Danny Masterson and Wilmer Valderrama.

Most of the cast members of the sitcom went on to become famous actors, just like Laura herself.

Laura Prepon's Career after That '70s Show

From 2007 until 2008, she starred as "Hannah Jane Daniels" in the ABC series October Road and then had a recurring role on How I Met Your Mother from 2009 until 2010.

After some more guest roles on different shows, Prepon got her next big gig on a TV series, this time with Netflix. In 2012, she was cast as "Alex Vause" in the prison drama series Orange Is the New Black, alongside Taylor Schilling and Jason Biggs.

Laura Prepon is married and has a daughter

Ever since Orange Is the New Black ended with the release of its seventh season on Netflix in July 2019, Prepon has more time to focus on her family. She has been married to fellow actor Ben Foster since 2018 and their daughter Ella was born in August 2017. 

In October 2019, Prepon announced on her Instagram account that she and her husband were expecting their second child.

Prepon's latest on-screen return was in three episodes of the That '70s Show spinoff, That '90s Show where she reprised the role of "Donna". We can't wait to see what she's apart of next!
