Linda Kozlowski: THIS Is Why She Quit Acting After 'Crocodile Dundee'
Linda Kozlowski found fame portraying "Sue Charlton" in the Crocodile Dundee films. She starred opposite her ex-husband Paul Hogan and turned down a lot of roles after her time in the films.
"Sue Charlton" was a legendary strong female lead in the Crocodile Dundee films played by Linda Kozlowski, opposite her ex-husband Paul Hogan. Linda had quite a successful career in the 1980s which continued into the 90s. However, after her role in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles in 2001, she stopped acting completely and retreated from the public eye.
Why did Linda Kozlowski quit acting?
While she was busy playing "Sue", Linda was being admired and after her time on Crocodile Dundee was up, she was offered multiple other roles in the entertainment industry. Many of the roles she was offered were to play the girlfriend of the lead character which didn't appeal to her at all and ultimately lead to her dismissing acting as a whole.
Linda Kozlowski: Happy as ever
She felt as though her fame was somehow always linked to her ex, Paul Hogan and that was a shadow she just couldn't seem to get out of. Instead, she decided to quit acting altogether and raise her son Chance. She has met a new boyfriend from Morocco where she now lives with Moulay Hafid Baba and is as happy as ever.
