Damon's presence is reportedly welcomed with open arms in the little hamlet with some residents playfully referring to the actor as Matt O'Damon. Matt and his family made the decision to stay at their residence in Dalkey when production was suspended on the film due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This proved to be a very smart decision for the family of five as returning to their multi-million dollar luxury penthouse in Brooklyn Heights would have been difficult. New York City alone has seen over 260,000 reported positive cases of COVID-19 and over 20,8000 deaths. These numbers are significantly higher than those in Ireland.

We can also imagine that Matt is getting some wonderful, serene quality time with his wife and three daughters, Isabella, Gia and Stella.
