Born on Aug. 20, 1969, actor Billy Gardell has spent many years in the world of comedy.

But one of his most memorable roles began in 2010, the year he and Melissa McCarthy co-starred in new sitcom Mike & Molly. Though he had many TV and film roles beforehand, Gardell earned widespread recognition on Mike & Molly and hasn't slowed down ever since.
