There are many rumors on how Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors, died. What we know officially is that Morrison was found dead on July 3, 1971, in the bathtub of his Paris apartment. Even though there was no autopsy performed, a doctor, that came by over the course of 72 hours, signed his death certificate with the official cause being heart failure. Numbers of theories suggest sexual diseases, drugs, murder etc.. His girlfriend met the same fate after a heroin overdose in 1974.
