'The Breakfast Club': This Is Emilio Estevez In 2021
The eldest and arguably the most handsome brother of the Sheens, Emilio Estevez has had an incredible career ever since his time as a core member of the "Brat Pack". What is he up to today?
Emilio Estevez was born May 12th, 1962 to the famous Martin Sheen in the Bronx. The entire Sheen/Estevez family was interested and heavily involved in Hollywood. Emilio rejected his father's stage name of "Sheen" unlike his brother Charlie because he felt his father had earned the name while Emilio hadn't yet and told People he "didn't want to ride into the business as Martin Sheen's son".

Emilio only ever had one job that was provided to him by his famous Dad, at a Burt Reynolds Dinner Theater Show! After that, Emilio did his best to earn work on his own, which was not difficult given that he had an incredible talent for acting.

His beautiful face is easily recognizable as one of the main members of the beloved 1980s "Brat Pack" along with Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, and Ally Sheedy. He was the jock "Andrew Clark" in the Saturday detention film The Breakfast Club and "Kirby" in the fresh out of college hit St. Elmo's Fire.
Emilio was incredibly hard-working and even adapted novels into impressive screenplays like That Was Then, This Is Now and wrote and directed the silly film Men At Work for him and his brother Charlie to star in. His writing and directing debut was the saucy crime-romance film Wisdom, alongside superstars Demi Moore and Top Gun's Tom Skerritt!
Emilio was not simply a one-role actor, he would truly mold to the role whether it was goofy, romantic, or dramatic, and he would be unforgettable.
In the 90's he starred as "Coach Bombay" in The Mighty Ducks and spoofs Loaded Weapon 1 and Another Stakeout. He also starred in and directed a Vietnam film portraying PTSD with his father called The War At Home.
The endlessly dedicated Estevez directed countless episodes of TV shows like Cold Case, The Guardian, CSI: NY, and Numb3rs. He also invested almost a decade to perfect the film about the assassination of Robert Kennedy Bobby, which he ended up earning a 6-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival!
Emilio Estevez Today
To this day he keeps a fairly private personal life and has never been one to showboat, like some of his other famous family members... Recently he wrote and directed the 2018 film The Public about a group of homeless people taking refuge in a public library and causing a stand-off with the local authorities.
He doesn't do whatever work comes his way, instead, he invests his time and effort into productions that mean something important to him which is a rare quality in Hollywood these days.
Emilio is a remarkably talented actor, writer, and director who can't seem to shake his original "Brat Pack" status off his back. He recently told the Guardian "That [term] will be on my tombstone." He is a proud family man, protective of his brother, and is now a grandfather!
We can't wait to see whatever Emilio is a part of next, it's bound to be another gem.div id="eZObject_100827" title="'RHOBH': Denise Richards Talks Co-Parenting With Ex-Husband Charlie Sheen: "There's A Lot The Kids Don't Know"" alt="medium" view="embed" inline="false" class="ezoeItemNonEditable ezoeItemContentTypeObjects" customattributes="href|attribute_separationlink_class|attribute_separationlink_id|attribute_separationlink_title|attribute_separationlink_target|"> 'RHOBH': Denise Richards Talks Co-Parenting With Ex-Husband Charlie Sheen: "There's A Lot The Kids Don't Know"div id="eZObject_101860" title="'Legally Blonde': This Is "Warner Huntington III" In 2021!" alt="medium" view="embed" inline="false" class="ezoeItemNonEditable ezoeItemContentTypeObjects" customattributes="href|attribute_separationlink_class|attribute_separationlink_id|attribute_separationlink_title|attribute_separationlink_target|"> 'Legally Blonde': This Is "Warner Huntington III" In 2021!
