Being married since 1982, the pair have had their fair share of ups and downs, and they have never hidden that from the public. Their brief separation in 2016 was a result of infidelity on Ozzy's part, something that he said was the worst moment of his life.

"I’ve done some pretty outrageous things in my life. I regret cheating on my wife. I don’t do it anymore," he said to the outlet.

"I got my reality check and I’m lucky she didn’t leave me. I’m not proud of that. I was pissed off with myself. But I broke her heart," he added.

Ozzy also explored his 2002 heartbreak when Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer and recalled how he was willing to put everything on hold for her.

"I said, 'I’m not doing any more shows,' and she said, 'Get the f**k out of here,' because I was driving her nuts," he laughed. "But when she had her chemo it f---g knocked the s--t out of her. She would be so ill; the chemo effect was worse than the cancer."

Ozzy then went on to disclose that it wasn't him who cheered her up, but none other than the late Robin Williams.

"I got Robin Williams to come round to the house to cheer her up instead," he said. "He had that film Patch Adams, where he was treating terminally ill people with laughter, so I thought he could come around to make her laugh when I was on tour. She loved it. And she was very upset when he killed himself."

Ozzy will appear on GQ's last 2020 issue.
