Sadly, Pauley Perrette is one of the countless people to lose a loved one to COVID-19.

Early this year, the former NCIS actress shared the heartbreaking news that her father Paul died of the coronavirus at age 85. Now, Perrette has shared a new tribute to her father in a COVID-19 memorial project.

Faces Of COVID collects and shares "stories of those lost" to the coronavirus. "They were more than a statistic," the project says. Perrette shared her father's story with Faces Of COVID this week.

In the touching tribute, she wrote: "Our beloved daddy. Firefighter, USAF Veteran, preacher, county commissioner, boater, animal lover, joke teller, hug giver… We always held hands even though I'm grown. He was my world."

With the tribute, Perrette included a sweet photo of herself embracing her dad. She also shared the post and added, "Thank You @FacesOfCOVID for adding my beloved daddy to your very important site. God Bless You."
