Jennie Nguyen has been cut from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City! While Nguyen was set to be featured in season 3 of the reality show, Bravo released a statement explaining why they have now made the decision to fire her.

Nguyen's "offensive" posts addressed by network

Nguyen recently found herself at the center of controversy after it was revealed she had made racist posts on Facebook. She made an Instagram post acknowledging that the account was deleted "over a year ago," explaining how she "thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were."

However, while Nguyen seemed apologetic for her actions, fans still lobbied for her removal. On Tuesday, the network announced that Nguyen has officially "ceased filming" for the series and has been let go. "We recognize we failed to take appropriate action once her offensive social media posts were brought to our attention," they said.

Nguyen can still be seen in the show's second season, which is currently airing. And as Entertainment Tonight reveals, she had already begun filming the third before getting axed. One of the scenes filmed reportedly includes "a sit-down confrontation" involving Nguyen that addresses the social media scandal. Now that she has been cut from the show though, we wonder if her absence from it will be addressed!
