Selena Gomez called out social media moguls for their lack of action leading up to such an imperative and historic moment in U.S. history.

Mentioning Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter's Jack Dorsey, and Google's Sundar Pichai, to name a few, Gomez condemned the leaders and their respective companies for their silence.

"Today is the result of allowing people with hate in their hearts to use platforms that should be used to bring people together and allow people to build community," Gomez wrote, tagging the company heads.

"You have all failed the American people today, and I hope you're going to fix things moving forward," she continued.

Gomez has previously spoken out against social media leaders and their lack of attention towards misinformation in regards to political parties as well as anti-vaccination groups.

Shortly after Gomez mentioned how she felt, Twitter temporarily barred the President from tweeting, as well as Facebook and Instagram.
