Selena Gomez releases new single

Selena Gomez is releasing more music than ever these days and has released her first song in Spanish since she was featured on DJ Snake's "Taki Taki" in 2018.

The song was released alongside a video with themes of magic and heartbreak, and Gomez looked absolutely glowing!

Gomez wears flowers in her hair as she wanders through a vintage looking home. Adorned on her chest is a heart that lights up at various different times throughout the video.

She told Apple Music that this was something she "wanted to do for 10 years," and that working on her Spanish project made her "so, so proud of [her] heritage."

"I feel like it's the perfect timing. Just with all the division in the world, there's something about Latin music that globally just makes people feel things, you know?" she said.

Gomez also revealed that singing in Spanish helped her become a better singer, noting that she has to work harder to make things sound right.

"That was something I discovered. It was a lot of work, and look, you cannot mispronounce anything," she said. "It is something that needed to be precise, and needed to be respected by the audience I'm going to release this for."

"I am targeting my fan base. I'm targeting my heritage, and I couldn't be more excited," she concluded.
